One thing that always confused me about the hardware was how the PS3 could play PS1 games, but not PS2 games. How does a system work with 2 generations older hardware, but not just the prior generation?
It's things like that where I wouldn't be surprised if they bundled the original FF7 game with, upscaled gaphics, on a working PS4 disc for some box set or something, just so they can actually play it on the same hardware.
