I wonder if the salt would be lessened if Sakurai chose Fates' CoStar, Azura instead.

Unlike Corrin, Azura's a lance fighter and a songstress. While she wouldn't have the dragon moves Corrin has, I'm sure you could use that lance of hers to pull off some pretty sweet attacks. Though, I guess if Sakurai is having trouble censoring Bayonetta, another scantly clad fighter would be hard to pull off.
