GAMER LOUNGE 20XX (NO CASUALS!!)

To be honest, outside of Flash gaming, I haven't seen any point and click games being released these days.  They're probably a very niche thing at this point, sorta like text-based games.  I can't speak for everyone, but maybe gamers prefer having direct control over movement, instead of having to click around everywhere.

Machinarium, Botanicula, and Telltale games (like BTTF: The Game) are a couple. I admit they're not very recent, but I've played the latter two this year. I do agree though, it's much less popular than it used to be, which is a bit of a shame. On the other hand, I usually am more comfortable directly controlling characters.
