Yeah - it's actually like a much deeper Chronicles of Mystara. It's tons of fun to play with pals, but it's also kinda old at this point so a lot of your friends might have characters that completely outlevel yours :/

I could feel his frustration, it was hilarious.

I've been here. I've done this. I competitively trained a Pokemon team to play in a local tourney when Platinum came out (which I never went to) and a pal of mine expressed interest in playing against me. His team was literally the RSE legendary beasts (Kyogre, Groudon, and Rayquaza) and DPP's (Palkia, Dialga, and I think even an Arceus). I one-shot a lot of his picks with my lead alone (at the time, a physical sweeper Luxray with Ice Fang) and this dweeb was SO FUCKING SALTY after that. He literally turned into ladies' night at the local dive bar. He became half-price margaritas ordered by college girls with fake IDs.
"how did you do that
i had literally the most powerful pokemon were you cheating
you were totally cheating wtf"
I'd love to see a character like this in the Pokemon movies that acts like a total infant when his team of ubers gets swept by Ash's Pikachu
