I think part of the reason why Teen Titans Go! is a relatively bad show is because it tries way too hard to be comedic.
And, I get that they want to make it so that it's literally a kid's comedy but... when a comedy tries to be a comedy for the sake of being one it just flat out fails.
The original Teen Titans wasn't even trying to be a comedy given it's genre was more centered around action, but even then the humor played out constantly as a source of comic relief and it showed heavily through the personalities in the original show. (If I remember correctly the original teen titans was far more character driven too.
Only reason why I brought up Scooby Doo was to highlight exact how Dark Grievous put it. At least each scoob reboot doesn't try to be something else from what the original show was and it's a perfect example of what a reboot, no matter which one should be.
Except for the live action ones in which case is only worth looking at again to make memes.
