Any actual rock songs by Imagine Dragons?

Well, I've only listened to 4 of their songs (Radioactive, like you mentioned, Demons, On Top of the World, and It's Time.), but none of them really sound like rock to me (In fact the beginning of It's Time sounds like something that would fit in a My Little Pony episode.) despite many fans and critics saying that they are.

Hopefully someone will show us a song that actually sounds like rock music, complete with guitars and no techno drums; last time I checked, rock music does not have techno instruments.

Music can mix multiple genres. Musical genres are also highly subjective in this way - the fact is that I feel like you're only making this topic to say "I don't like Imagine Dragons because it isn't hardcore enough and I don't like people saying it's rock because I like rock music "... Which is kind of sad that you're unhappy people enjoy a band and want to give a label for genre.

Music is very hard to give a definite genre, just as with games it can be particularly difficult to give a genre too. Tetris and a word search are two completely different kinds of games, but are both considered puzzles. A "techno" band can be so dramatically different it isn't even worth comparing.

Just enjoy a band for the band, not the genre.
