console/handheld games are great, cuz you can play them...well these days anywhere you want, but many people like me find putting some coins in a machine for a unique gaming experience pretty enticing too. Yep, i'm talking arcade machines, and this is a thread where we can talk about anything related to arcades and coin-op (I guess pachinko and casino games are fine too, cuz obviously so many people love them more than arcade machines).

I personally believe if they brought back the US arcade market from the dead, business would be booming if they could use something like the digital distribution networks they use in Japan. It's really not much different from what people use for movies, console games, phone apps, etc., so why not bring back arcades?
