some people also just give good reps for completely invalid reasons, like for the hell of it, basically
Kriven has already pointed-out a big problem, a lot of people are using them essentially as a gang-up verbal abuse system
I agree the rep system does have a purpose, but how constructive it's been is at times, extremely debatable

but come to think of it, i can't think of a good reason you don't deserve that, anyways
