Also, a thought occurs: anyone else SUPER worried about the Dock potentially scratching the screen while putting it in? A build-in screen cover on the portable for this sort of thing would be nice.

Agree with both of these. I think the entire way you stick it in the dock is stupid. Why not just do like the Wii U dock and have it sit on top rather than inside?
(probably because people would complain about the screen not being usable in dock mode, so this makes it so you can't even SEE the screen, rendering those points moot)
