EDIT: I just realized that you actually had drama with MFGG before. Still that's really no excuse to be posting your problems with that community here.
As for the sprites, it's great that you have a big imagination and all that. In fact that's a good starting place. HOWEVER what I try to encourage other users to do is to make sprites from scratch and not do anything with editing. Which, is pretty much what I gather from your mario edits in the SMB3 style vs the Mario and Luigi Super Star Saga Sprites (which are used heavily in SMBZ). While they're nice to look at and all, I would say ditch them and do something from scratch.
I'd also echo that point for your shy guy sprites to a lesser degree. While I don't think they're bad per-say, I think it would benefit you to start from scratch with this particular character. They're too small to handle too much detail in versions 4-6 and 1-3 look fairly flat. And some of the sprites you have suffer from either banding or jagged line art.
