Iphone/Android Ripping

Apologies for the lateness here, but I was about to start handing out verbal warnings in this topic due to all the requests.
I received a few posts flagging reports of requesting here...so, just to clear up something:

As a heads up, Ariss: in our forum rules, we're very adamant about requesting outside of the request forum and are typically pretty harsh about it - however, I just reread the original post:

I am currently ripping models from apple and android devices. I'm mostly just doing it out of curiosity, but if anyone would like me to rip a specific model I would be more than happy to do so. 

However, I can only guarantee the ability to rip from unity apps, others are app specific.

And you're outright asking people for requests here. If you're the one prompting user feedback, I don't see anything wrong per se with this and I'll make an exception here as...you, technically aren't doing anything wrong? It's just users requesting would typically be against our forum policy. I'm gonna just point out a few things here for others posting here:

• Remember Ariss is one person, who probably has a life outside of ripping things. They are doing this on his free time. They are not a machine. It will take time for them to fulfill these requests, so don't become frustrated with them if they don't tend to your request in a timely manner.
  
• Ariss is doing this to educate themselves on how to extract data from mobile games. There will be games they may not be able to get data from because the data is encrypted - which is an entirely different can of worms. Respect Ariss if they tell you they're unable to extract the data at this time.
  
• In tandem with the previous point, there is no guarantee that Ariss can (or will) rip assets from the game you're looking for. They did mention they'd only rip from Unity games, so keep that in mind. Don't become frustrated with them if your request is denied or otherwise ignored (though Ariss, it's a good idea to say "This isn't a Unity game dude, sorry")
  
• Do not inundate Ariss with too many requests at once. Finding assets in a game is tricky enough - extracting an entire roster of item graphics or character models and textures is a bit steep of a request. Keep your requests short and reasonable.
  

That said, Ariss, you should probably update your list in the first post with the requests you're willing to take on first. Once you open requests, it's like opening a floodgate and the response may be overwhelming.
Likewise, if you make it to 50 posts you'll be able to post in the Requests forum, and I can move this topic into there if you'd like (so it's quieter and you have a more manageable audience/requests)

Also, if one of the admins wishes to override all that I said, feel free to take administrative action on this topic if you see fit.
