I'm not familiar with the program but a quick Google search confirms this is a pretty stock error message and could mean any number of things. It could be as simple as running an incorrect format application on your PC (a 64-bit app on a 32-bit PC for example), or it could be as serious as the modern Windows OS completely breaking the program. You can Google a number of suggested fixes, but I don't know if you'll get a clearer answer with just the information you have here.
