Just a curiosity question here (because I have zero idea how the whole ripping process works):
Everyone has been quick to rip the models and textures for both Let's Go and Sword & Shield (which is awesome), but why has it been so difficult to rip animations? I mean, sure for Let's Go all you had to do was pull the anims from Sun & Moon since Let's Go used the same models (and the same can be done with a huge chunk of Sword & Shield's Pokemon too), but Pokemon like Meltan and Melmetal as well as the Gen VIII Pokemon in Sword & Shield are sort of out of luck on that front. Are the files just in a different spot than they'd usually be for other games? Obviously they'd be in a different format just like the models were so is there just not a tool yet to extract the animation files?
Again, this isn't any kind of criticism since I know a LOT of hard work has been put out to have the database of ripped files we currently have right now; Merely a curiosity question
