The .P files you get are actually containers that store model data and texture data, they're easy to rip from as long as you know what you are doing. Its not that hard.
You just have to hex the .GNO models and .PVR textures out with no problemo!

E = Event (Probably)
C = Character
S = Sonic or Something (Letter depends on the character)
DEF = ??
_4V = ??
.P = File Extension
Characters
ECSDEF_4V.P = Sonic
ECTDEF_4V.P = Tails
ECKDEF_4V.P = Knuckles
ECADEF_4V.P = Amy
ECDDEF_4V.P = Shadow
ECODEF_4V.P = Storm
ECJDEF_4V.P = Jet
ECNDEF_4V.P = Nights
ECYDEF_4V.P = Billy
ECEDEF_4V.P = Eggman
ECCDEF_4V.P = Cream
