Hey Smile

I had the same issue and I thought I'd share my solution with you if you're still interested.
I ended up using a program called NinjaRipper and Dolphin 4.0-157 (using the Direct3D9 Backend) and was able to get the models out from Mario Super Sluggers through this method.
