Custom Metal Tails Sprite

I was pretty satisfied with how this one turned out.
   
I pretty much blended this sprite:      with this sprite:     
I used the same color pallet and had to shade it to make it look like metal. I added metal joints to his tails and made his muzzle a segmented metal design. Let me know what you think of the shading! I am very much a novice at this sort of stuff..
