A few rejected submissions aren't the end of the world. Yes, I know the submissions should not have been in the queue for that long (it's not entirely our fault that it's incredibly backlogged), all I said in the rejection messages was that your submissions got damaged due to saving higher-than-256-color and translucent images as paletted, less-than-256-color PNGs, almost as if they were saved as GIFs instead (a format limited by said 256-max color limit that most people have stopped using for their submissions). It's not some sort of "hidden guideline quality", it's making sure that the sprites weren't made unusable by accident due to the way they were saved (I've seen several users submit JPGs with a PNG extension, for instance), it was something that was caught during the review process.
Either way, your submissions weren't deleted -- every single one of your Stardew Valley submissions are still on the site (I checked them all and not a single one of them had that issue as your more recent submissions), and the ones for the other games that got approved earlier are all still there, even though they'll need to be repaired.
And I'm sorry to hear about your cat. I've grown up with several cats who are no longer with me, and I know how it feels to lose a loved one -- human, cat or otherwise.
