NIN is a bad example since it's rare for them to sound at all the same from one album to the next
hrr
but uh, in principle
I wouldn't care really
because I still have the old albums that I do enjoy even if I'm not gonna be into the hypothetical new emo ones.
Alright see Linkin Park, right?
I loved the shit out of the first album. And the second one. The third came out and I hated it since they just decided they were going to unabashedly rip off better bands and bandwagon hop like nobody's business. So I didn't buy it. And I don't listen to it. And I still occasionally listen to the old ones with HAPPY NOSTALGIA and ignore the existence of the new one
I didn't give myself a migraine screeching at people on the internet because OMG I HAVE BEEN BETRAAAAAYED.
