I do have volume control buttons, but just not included in this demo. 
I think I'll update this demo tomorrow actually, because I forgot the option to toggle variable jumping. -- and also, the sound hasn't been adjusted whatsoever since the first demo, so it's presumably something do to with your sound control. o_O
but yeah, I'll wait and see what others say about the matter, and if it's the same for everybody; what the feck!? x_X
EDIT: Also, try going to your Master Volume and adjusting the Wave and SW Synth Sound, I'm guessing that's got messed up??
