.... he cannot shade any more. because it is 8 BIT!!!!!!!!!!
My god! EVERYBODY says EVERITHING is 8 bit now.... Ouch!
Sorry, but... ugh. 8 bit only permits 4 colours. and in FF1,2&3... There was NO BLACK AT ALL. everything black was transparent. so they made the BG transp. too. so, 3 colours,+ lines and transparency in FF style. no more.
Sorry for my mistakes on english, people..... I am Brazilian, and to worsen that... i learnt english playing Final Fantasy and asking my mother.

EDIT: Now, 4 years have passed, and I`m an english teacher. Heart
