Yeah, most people leave that setting on with nocash and rips end up being bluish. What that blue tint is actually is an attempt to simulate the backlighting within the DS lite. See, the DS uses a silly algorithm to brighten the screen and nocash attempts to...for some reason, emulate it. It's nice for when you're playing games as the image is soft on the eyes, but kinda takes away from the image when it comes to ripping.
I'm personally trying to figure out what's done to the image myself, so in the future it'll be as simple as running it through a program and converting the colors up certain hexidecimal values to give it that rich look. :E
