Music? Hmmm... No. This actually can give some headache, specially if the composer(s) is/are too paranoid with legal jumbo. I've seen fansites featuring soundtracks of one specific game having some major legal problems and having to end up removing it.
Sound rips I guess it's OK. Specially as many games use creative commons or free sounds. Not much a fan of the idea but it could be a nice addition to the site, as long the main focus still the sprites. In my experience to rip the effects you usually need an extractor, and it can be a pain in the side.
