In Majora's Mask they were open though. I kinda want his design to be based off of his own games. I think he deserves that. Just like Wario.

Honestly, open eyed Tingle scares me. Not sure why, but I remember always being creeped out by him, although that may have just been the MM tingle design in general.

Yeah I just don't want him to be thrown in as that Wind Waker character. He has his own image now. And quite frankly its way goofier looking and that's perfect!

He could open them when he gets hit, just like Olimar does.
