Character Tweaks [revamped first post!]
Difference is the his mirror shield reflected anything, ANYTHING.

Thanked by:
More like reflected projectiles, blocked physical attacks, had super armor and, if you got the timing right, turns the opponent the other way in the middle of their attack. Also, just gonna mention that someone already brought this up... kinda.
Strive for victory. Vanquish defeat. And always pack the extra 1up.

Side B reflects projectiles, though
Side B also Blocks physical attacks (if someone goes to hit you and they hit the spinning blades their attack will be cancelled)
What exactly is super armour?
Why turn someone around for one frame before they attack you when you could just cancel it with Side B? It doesn't seem to make much sense.

Super armor is what stops you from taking knockback damage when you get hit. Ike's Aether when he throws the sword up has super armor, since any damage he takes in this state will not knock him back or play damage frames-- even though he's taking damage.

Uh, no, Pit's side B can't block physical attacks. It's as you say, it can stop them, but not block. Pit's down B can outright protect him from any physical attack that connects with the shield, hence why they allow it to angle up slightly to stop frontal, overhead attacks.

The turning around business is just a little extra and I can't say how useful it really is 'cause I hate using Pit, but I think it was a fun thing to do when I used Pit a few times, even though I mostly got the super armor instead.

Both of which involve protecting Pit from taking any damage. In fact, side B stops it altogether, but down just means they follow through without actually doing anything else

Besides, on online mode when have you ever seen someone use Pit's down B anyway? its just considered pointless anyway
Thanked by:
Not if you actually know how to use it and can time it right. It's a good shield and reflector.

Fair enough, but let me ask you this; since when have you seen someone been able to react fast enough to use it to block/interrupt an attack?

Since you're hellbent on how pointless Pit's down b is, how about we do this. Side B loses it's reflector ability, has crap priority and like previously suggested, a limit of 5 seconds. This way if they try to use it to "block" an attack, it'll have less priority and will get hit through it. Down B can stay the same to make it worth using.

Idea about Mario's FLUDVery Sad
After holding vB to charge, the move used is altered by the direction of the Control Stick when B is released.

Neutral- Squirt
Side- Turbo in chosen direction
Up- Hover
Down- Rocket

I'm having a deja vu. Someone hasn't said it long ago?

Well, I'm against this by the fact that i don't like mario using the fludd instead of spinning. Don't have a real argument, just that if it be a item would feel more "right". Them it would change your specials.

The posts at the first page suggests changing Nozzle via Taunt or to replace the other B-moves entirely when FLUDD is charged. I'd like it if I could still have my specials but could use the FLUDD in between.

I have suggestions for two characters at the moment:

1. As far as Luigi's moveset is concerned, I believe it is different enough from Mario's. It would be very cool to see Luigi's Mansion represented in his moves, but with Mario's F.L.U.D.D., it may be difficult to come up with something unique enough without seeming forced. Then is his Final Smash. I don't know if Negative Zone is in one of his games, but to me it seems too random. My ideas for solving this might seem lame, but here they are. This could be where his Mansion attack is, but probably not. Maybe a lightning attack, like in Superstar Saga. Also, he could transform into Mr. L from Super Paper Mario and use the BroBot in something. Anyway, I think that this should be considered.

2. A diehard Pikmin fan, I was upset at one small thing lacking about Olimar that would have admittedly had a small impact on the game, but would have made quite a difference to his regular players: bulmin. These were a very rare and difficult to obtain species of Pikmin in Pikmin 2. They were Pikmin-sized bulborbs with stems sticking out of their backs. They were resistant to fire, electricity, water, and poison, and I believe that they were as strong as red pikmin. In Smash Bros., these would have the combined abilities of all the pikmin, excluding the mobility modifications of the whites, yellows, and purples, and excluding the enhanced purple knockback. There would be a very small chance of Olimar plucking them.

Hey, I know this is the wrong area to ask this, but it's the most active thread and I hate bumping. (It never ends well)
Has anyone noticed that runouw's site is suspended?
I just went to play a little bit and bam, "This account is suspended".

Oh yeah. That Kain avatar up there is gonna change. Into something better.

This is the wrong place to post it. But the site is back up (it was down for several hours).

I agree with giving Luigi an attack that supports Luigi's mansion, especially because of Luigi's mansion 2 coming out.
