i remember that when we were kids we shaked our god damn controllers for all sort of reasons while playing at it never made us lose focus.

Yes, but that's because you weren't specifically concentrating on shaking the controller.

Basically, you have to put some level into actually stopping pushing the buttons for a second and then shaking the controller to perform a basic maneuver that should have been mapped to a button anyway; as I said, it felt incredibly tacked on.

Gee, Miyamoto should have mapped all the waggle to Down and A.

Though that's awkward when in the air. >.>

...or he could have left picking things up as 1 and easily mapped the spinning in the air to rapidly tapping 2 or something.
Or at least left an option to chose the control scheme.

Actually, I think using the Wii Remote's actual B button for picking things up would've been kinda cool!

That button isn't used nearly enough compared to 1, 2, and A. It might have been kinda awkward, but it would be better than holding 1 and shaking the Wii Remote. You could also stop running without dropping what you're carrying.

That's also a better idea than tacking on shaking, but the B button is probably really awkward for people with small hands. My hands are around medium-to-large sized, but it's still sort of awkward to hit the B button with the side of my middle finger.

Sorry, using B would just be awful. Sad
