I'm playing Mother 2 since my package hasn't arrived with the game yet. I have a slight problem, there seems to be this annoying little static as the music plays in the background and you'll here this really loud "twang" noise every once in a while. I generally shouldn't be hearing this in Onett or Twoson in the very beginning of the game, and I don't remember hearing this at all when I last played the game.
So would it be a problem with my computer's speakers? Or and emulation/rom issue? I'm using Snes9X 1.51 atm.

EDIT: The game will also randomly speed up or slow down, and I'm not toggling with the emulators controls
