It even sounds hot because it's close to 100. The celsius equivalent of 86 degrees F? 30 fucking degrees. Not only does this totally throw people off and sound freezing, the fact that celsius is so vague with its temperature scale shows that there's no point in even using it. the ONLY good thing about celsius is that freezing is 0 and boiling is 100. but that doesn't really matter if the rest of the scale is too fucked up to be of any use.

Uh
that only applies to people who are more used to fahrenheit, dick. OMG THIS MEASUREMENT IS WROOOOONG BECAUSE I AM UNFAMILIAR WITH IT.

also I'd like to know what atmospheric temperature has to do with Celsius' use as a measurement
there are more uses for temperature than just the weather

Kelvin, bitches
but yeah we would have totally went with Celsius, but because so many American machines run on Fahrenheit that it would be pretty much impossible to recalibrate every last one of them back into Celsius Thanked by:

even though kelvin is just celsius -376 or something, I think we should go with it because its 0 is the true freezing point
but even so, celsius is still inaccurate. 5 degrees F is a pretty big change, and the fact that that only covers a single degree in C means that it's harder to get the exact temperature you want with farenheit, you can tell EXACTLY what the temperature is, while celsius only gives you a vague impression of how hot it is

I want to know who the hell came up with Fahrenheit because that shit doesn't make sense to me
0 degrees Celsius: water begins to freeze 100 degrees Celsius: water begins to boil compared to -32 degrees Fahrenheit and 212 degrees Fahrenheit or whatever seriously >:[

actually it's 32 not negative 32
our zero is negative something in celsius but yes, as I said, the only good thing about celsius is that 0 is freezing and 100 is boiling if they could create a system that combines the accurate-ness of farenheit with the simplicity of celsius, it'd be perfect

viper shark why the fuck do you always need to make everything into a cultural debate in every fucking thread you post in
every country is stupid. we all have our dumb as fuck flaws. every town is just another bullshit town.

yes i know
02-01-2010, 03:56 PM
so then why the hell would you turn it into a discussion on which temperature system is the best if you knew he was just joking

i also think that the "mile" measure system is bullshit bcause i have a friend named "miles" and people mock him calling him distinguished gentleman because he likes men and i think this is unfair and bullying
