But seriously, it is a decent start, you may want to improve the shading or shrink his head somewhat to be more proportional to the body unless the bigger head is a style you are going for.

I have read thew stickies and rules, but that was a reaaally long time ago. This isn't the first time I submitted something custom.

Back a long time ago, I made some jacked up mario bros ones that make this look like gold (I'm not saying that these are gold though)

These are an awesome start! I can't wait to see how it looks when it's finished. The anims look a bit stiff. I have the same problem. But I can see these going somewhere good.

I decided to go ahead and do the battle sprites, and they're turning out better than the first try.

I also made his head smaller, which one of you pointed out (never would'a hit me unless you mentioned it)
