Oh actually there's a new thing where you can't go into adult areas unless you've age-verified, you need a credit or debit card to verify I think.

IIRC, there's regular areas, Mature areas which are just suggestive, might involve violence, etc, and Adult, which are usually porny, but some people put an Adult rating on their neighbourhood just to cut down on people a bit more.

So yeah, go to website, sign up, verify age, job done.

It's actually pretty okay if you know where to go and there's people you can hang out with. Some people I know run their radio thing through SL and it's kind of a laugh.

Man I dunno.
I had an account a few years ago that I baaaawleted and I made a new one a couple months ago so I could sit on on aforementioned radioshow.

I know there *have* been changes, other than the PG/Mature/Adult thing, but none spring to mind. Using it is more or less the same as ever, most of the changes have just been restructuring the servers + updating terms of service, I think.
