so im gonna be doing an animation using sprites of a mess load of video game characters.
what i need is to decide whether to make an intricate story line with plot twists and climaxes (lol), or just an all out beat 'em up series, with random fights that stem from nothing. im not looking to have a story written for me, i just wanna know which would be more entertaining: a story line, or senseless beating.

Uhhh..... um.... yeeeeaaaah.... I really didn't get anything you said. Especially in the first paragraph..... But I can still answer. To the second paragraph, it's called creativity. You don't ask people to basically plan your story for you.
I think he wants to make a flash video using sprites with Mario, Link, Boo, Ryu, and Samurai Jack. It has been thought of before to do something like this however my creativity isn't aloud to leave my brain unless it is into something I personally make. Sorry.

im not asking for a story, i just wanna know if a story would be entertaining, or if a random fight would be better.
sorry if i phrased it that way.

This isn't really the place for such a thing. If you want to start up a project on this board, kindly have some evidence that the project is being worked on in the first post; most preferrably some sprites.
I'll lock this for now as acordance to the rules, but feel free to message me once you have some evidence for the project going.
