I really wish Sakurai never mentioned that scene that got cut, the one were Metaknight losses his halberd to the Subspace army, cause now i feel like we really missed out. SSE was just fine for me otherwise. I don't see why everybody would want it to be set in Nintendo places. Thats just stupid in my opinion. how would it connect like at all?

I agree, mozzy. Including all kinds of Nintendo areas makes little to no sense. While SSE could have been done better, it should stay its own world.
@Sol: Aside from creatures born out of darkness (a common lelment in many games) SSE was nothing like KH.

I agree with Sol, it was a bit too personalized

Unless it's only a few Nintendo game locations I don't see a problem, but if it is every single one then yeah it would be too much.

Sol Wrote:I think Subspace just needs to be completely redone, I mean...It just felt like an extremely watered down Kirby game starring Nintendo characters with a story (what little story there was) that was extremely similar to Kingdom Hearts. Not to mention there was absolutely no dialogue. Plus it seemed like they just kind of forgot about some things, like how Lucas is so worried about Ness for half the game and then when they finally get reunited nothing happens, at all. And of course how there were no Nintendo locales at all!
Also the next game needs to be less "HEY LOOK EVERYONE KIRBY IS AWESOME I SURE DO LOVE KIRBY"
Let's see....challenges, ALL 3 Kirby characters being playable out of the box, the Kirby characters having a significantly large role in Subspace Emissary. I mean, HAL Laboratory did the first two, but JEEEEZE.
I just think Sakurai personalized it a bit too much.
Id like to point out that subspace worked without dialogue, and if they had dialogue, they would have had to have had an extra delay or two for major translation, which is something the fans didnt want. No dialogue made it easier for them.

I don't think Nintendo cares about that, wasn't Super Mario Sunshine in English for all regions just with subtitles? but yeah I don't really think it needs it, it would be nice but isn't absolutley necessary.

Yeah, but what happens when characters have a Japanese voice actor and an English voice actor, such as Sonic.
But I think it works fine without. I see no need since the cutscenes protayed the emotion without having to say, "I am happy".

I can't believe I didn't realize this before
another Smash game, another bunch of losers classifying the characters into a tiers list and sucking the fun out of a game
There is nothing to understand, that's why nothing understands it

Enhance stage builders.
All old stages [that aren't melee/brawl cloned] and new ones.
Bring back Dr. Mario or at LEAST a alt. mario outfit *coughwariocough*, and Mewtwo cause he is MUCH cooler than Lucario.
More challenges that involve us doing stuff that we would be doing already BUT ARENT BEING AWARDED FOR!
Character specific target smash levels. (Gave EVERYONE a unique way to test their character SPECIFIC talents.
3rd party trophies, stickers and CDs for those charaters whom didn't quite make it.
Put Crazy hand in the SSE walkthrough for a better plot and some more reffernce of 'this world' that was needed.
BRING BACK ADVENTURE MODE!!! (Make SSE titled "story mode")

It seems to be evenly divided among SSBB fans in this issue. Roughly half understood everything without dialogue while the other half didn't understand it. Maybe short phrases, but not full-on dialogue.

It still wouldn't make much sense even with dialogue. The story is very random with characters popping out of nowhere. I'd also would have liked it better if it were the REAL characters from their own universes, instead of trophies.

Maybe short phrases, but not full-on dialogue. I didn't mean the plot didn't make sense, I just meant the fact that there is no dialogue made no sense. Although as Koopaul said the plot was extremely random.
