Special thanks to Ultimecia for suggesting this one to me. Outlaws was an FPS of 1997 made by Lucasarts on their Jedi engine that I hadn't heard of before. I grabbed a copy from my local disk trader and popped it in and gave it a whirl.
And the game was severely glitched
Fortunately there was little to no damage done to the game's actual data, only that ingame the color data would go berserk and several levels crashed on me to the point that it was almost unplayable past the third level. What I did play, however, was a lot of fun, so once I find a working copy of this game, I'm going to make sure to give it a proper play through. Here's the sprites I got:
Player:
Enemies:
Misc:
And the zip because we can:
The weird purple on the guns and some of the sprites is usually a mask for computer-generated effects like additive style smoke (at least, in the case of the guns that's what it is). On some of the sprites it might just be color corruption, who knows.
It's probably worth mentioning that most of these characters I was unable to reach ingame or find online and as such I had to name them based off of their data files (I did not come up with the name Dynamite Dick, that was already in the game; make of that what you will), so if anybody knows that I got a name wrong please say so so I can make the necessary changes.
Speaking of which, sorry for how long it took till this update. I was originally going to rip a Doctor Who mod for Doom that was suggested by Carpaccio, but I find that even after reading the entire Doctor Who wikia I cannot match all of the monsters to their correct names (though I did find several of them). If you think that you can possibly decipher some of the characters, go ahead and give me a private message and I'll send you a sheet with the characters and maybe with your help I'll be able to finish that rip.
Anyway, until I stumble upon another game to rip, have fun and whatnot.
