It's kinda misleading though. Maybe it isn't dangerous, but it's somewhat annoying in a way...

Well, I haven't actually noticed it after the first time I tried clicking it.
But I guess it's still an error, right? Not an urgent one, but still, needs fixing.

Check your other PM folders in the Messenger part of your UserCP. All users are issued four folders by default when they join the tSR forum (you can add more folders for your PMs later if you need to): Inbox - PMs you receive from other people arrive in this folder. Sent Items - Copies of PMs you sent out to other people get put here. You can turn off saving copies of sent PMs. Drafts - Any PMs you're in the middle of creating can be saved to here to be sent out later when you finish creating them. Trash Can - All PMs deleted from the other folders get moved here so that you can review them one last time before deciding to permanently delete those PMs or move them back to the other folders.
I don't know if these are errors but I found this pretty interesting. When you go to you CP and click edit options, you can select the theme that you want. So I was experimenting with the different themes and on the one that was supposed to be the old design of TSR suddenly turned blue. Because I remember the old design was all red and grey, is it supposed to be blue? And also on the second one It is Blue again, and at the top the words say MYBB instead of TSR.

Different layouts, I'm guessing. I never knew that.

I believe the intent was to get more skins working, but since Dazz and the other tSR staff are too busy redesigning the main site, the other forum skins are on the backburner leaving the default skin as the only complete skin here.

I don't know if it only happens with me, but I tried with two different computers, in two different cities and with two different connection, so...
Sometimes the forum only loads the header, the ad and stops. It don't load the rest. I have to refresh the forum a few times to manage to check it. Sometimes I even got to close my browser.

Firefox 3 lastest version. One of the computers got the regular English version, the other got Brazilian Portuguese.
Both computers got Win XP with the latest update.
There could be any number of reasons really.
1) Javascript is off. Turn it back on. 2) You're using AdBlock, AdBlock Plus, or NoScript. Check to see if a filter in either extension is blocking these forums. 3) A desktop program is blocking these forums. Check your anti-virus, anti-spyware, and firewall programs to see if they aren't silently blocking these forums from loading. If you have parental controls active on your computers, try disabling them or tell them to allow these forums through. 4) One or more parts of these forums are directly hotlinking off sites that are currently down, so that'll keep the forums from loading until the third party items fully load or finally time out. |
