that link's all over the place, his eyes seem to be turned whereas we have a head-on face, and his neck is not centred wit his body properly:

Where is your single lightsource? You need better colors on the shield and more contrast on the whole piece.

I'm sorry, but I can't help but see those cute cheeks as pimples with a white heads... Perhaps don't use the white overtop of the pink, it contrasts it apart far to much.
