or

the answer is no, and why would you ever use anything aside from the pencil tool and fill bucket

Ive used the line tool on occasion, but never for the actual lineart. Being able to draw straight lines is useful; though not usually aesthetic.
Specs 'n' Headphones has been revamped! Check it, yo.

This isn't even a request

it's just a question
Anyway, use shape tools for fast shaping/sketching, then use pencil to touch them up. Never use shape tools without touching them up (especially the ellipsis tool) because they're uneven and ugly.

I hardly use any shape/line tool when I pixel something.

also who the hell is this guy again? I think I saw some of his posts but I really don't remember.
