"Experience your music collection like never before with this intense music driven arcade shooter. Each of your songs will have its own unique ebb and flow based on the music.
Power up your spaceship and watch as the music boosts your firepower. Unleash hell on the enemy ships when you max out with weapon pickups!

it's $9.99 through steam or paypal, but there's a demo (i can only find the demo for the 360, though. might be one on steam, dunno.)
i personally love this game.

This is oooooooooooooooold.
And its just another audiosurf, sorta.
The gameplay is highly unvaried.
The coolest thing about this game is that it literally assaults your visual senses, in a good way.

I prefer this much more than audiosurf.
Only problem is, when I set the game on hard (aka maximum visual feedback) and then play some hardcore songs (hardstyle, for example) so many things happen on screen at once that my gpu overheats and crashes the game.
Need to upgrade, lol

I feel Audiosurf's the better game because it actually 'does' something with your music. Beat Hazard has achievements and leader boards and is definitely a harder game; but you can easily play it with the sound off; which is a waste of the premise.

yes, I agree that audiosurf is much better at translating the music in to gameplay
but I find BH to be much more fun and the visuals to be much better
i played this for only so long (just like audiosurf)
then it got boring even with new music

Never said it was a bad game, I just don't think its all that great. I prefer audiosurf to beat hazard. Both are interesting ideas, I just don't think Beat Hazard was executed as well as Audiosurf.
i want a pacman music adaption game next
i'm not even joking!

I find myself coming back to Audiosurf every so often when I get new music, to see what it comes up with.
Apparently the game has something of a modding community - you can change certain elements of track and traffic generation.
