Media Extractor is a good choice, I ripped a few games with it.
MagicMaker posted it and a lot of other tools in this topic:

After a great while of technical difficulties, I'm back to annoy you all with questions again!
Well...I was wondering how to rip from Z.H.P.: Unlosing Ranger vs. Darkdeath Evilman...I've already done all the preparation with NISunpack and NISdecmp, and am messing with the resulting DAT files in various viewers, mostly TiledGGD. I was hoping someone could help me figure out the palette and viewing details needed to properly rip from this game...

Currently trying Black Sigil, but NoGBA doesn't work:
Can someone help me out with that?

Tried changing the save settings? Like Flash 512k/auto. Sometimes it has to be on a different setting for certain games.

If I remember right, an up-to-date version of No$GBA should have Auto under save type. If yours isn't, then you have to manually test each one to see which is the right one.
Doofenshmirtz: This is a little bit awkward but have you seen my escape jet keys? (Perry nods) What, you have? Well that's great! So where are they? (Perry looks away) You won't tell me? Is this because you don't speak or are you just being a jerk?

This is what comes up when I click on the exe (already tried the options which you can see on the screen):
Where can I find these save settings?

This is what I'm talking about. Load up the rom:
Options > emulation setup > GBA cartridge backup media.
If that fails you might need to look up a save code or try using another emulator.
Edit: But if it's a DS game you would click NDS cartridge backup media obviously <.<

Whooo, it works, thank you very much.
Now I have to find out how I can rip from this game. Obviously, screenshotting is for maps and the method from Barubary and Dazz is for the other stuff. I have no idea how it works, but I will crawl into older threads or write them a PM.

I've been ripping Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume.
After a lot of digging, I found most of the sprites, I'm simply missing the soul crush sprites (if they even exist, not sure if they're sprites with fancy effects or just a movie file it plays whenever you use a Soul Crush), and the battle sprites, where the characters attack, etc.
I searched and searched and couldn't find any.
Then I looked deeper into 500 files of jumbled crap I overlooked like three times, and found pretty much every character. It -appears- to be battle sprites, but I don't know. They all have their weapons, and the only time some characters have weapons is in battle, so I assume they are the battle sprites.
One issue. They all look like this: (or similar, just a bunch of jumbled up images that are the battle sprites)
Anyone happen to know if there's a way to unjumble these? There's literally hundreds of battle sprites for each character if these images are infact real, which means I can't just manually capture them with screenshotting (on top of the fact there's battle animations that only occur during certain chapters/bosses). I tried IWE, but that didn't really work.
Any help appreciated.
Is it just me, or is the image broken..?

If that was in regards to my post, I changed the host to photobucket, so it should appear now. xD

My goodness DeathBringer, those look great!
Ooh right, OoV is a fantastic program that can view sprites from many DS games. It may help you with your ripping Myzou.
