Not at all. It looks good with the rounded snout, and the stubby arms.
What more can I do to help get the grass starter complete? I'm not much of a concept artist, but I am not too shabby when it comes to pixeling. (I feel a bit motivated to aid the project right now.)
Also, would it be okay if I made an attempt toward spriting "Spino?" That is, since it seems the general idea for him is agreed upon?

I think thats a good idea.
I also decided to try and sprite it (i'm ok in the style...), and based it upon Sketchasaurus' new version of it.
I believe they've said they thought it would be a good idea to use Charizard as the hight....and thats what I came up with
I know it needs work, but I think I'll leave that to you guys, since like I said, not that great in the stlye.

Quick Body based off of the sprite mutantyoshi made.
Also, I like that Ichthyosaurus very much!

Dear God I'm loving the vibes I get from this project. Everyone's collaborating very nicely, and with great-looking results too!
Of all the custom Pokedex projects I've seen on the web this is by far my favorite.

*sigh* I am not at all satisfied with the sprite. But I'm a little too tired today to fix it up any more. Feel free to add the final details, and fix any problems you see with it.

Are you saving those parts? Because we could do Black/White animations with them.

I'm not sure, but I'm pretty sure Koopaul decided that doing BW animations would take too much time.

I just thought that it might be easier to edit if I kept some tiles. (I do that with all my sprites.) So yes, I have the tiles for both this sprite and the grass starter.

I tried to make the sprite a little more "in style." But I've been having a little trouble considering I have never made Pokemon sprites before this project.
Also: As far as I'm concerned those two sketches are perfect for the grass starter! Nice work man!

Really, you never made Pokémon sprites before? Your AWESOME! They actually look close enough to be official!

Loving that design. I think either b or c would work, maybe the runner up could be the gender difference? Right now, the only thing I see that could be better is to maybe give it some reptilian skin? The batter makes me kinda think of fur, and I don't think that's the impression you're trying to give off.
