I Played the GBC-version and watched my sister when she played it on the PSX
A question about the characters and portraits:
Are they dissected or is it possible to pull them straight out of the RAM? If you are a screenshot ripper, just ignore my question.

I'm just playing it, the textures are also not easy to rip, but the portraits are nice (except Kewne, his mugshots are segmented).

AzureDreams on Psx is ym favorite game , so i am sure you missed one:-)
When Koh eats a Mahell Seed he get 2 times faster and has an extra status face:

I just wanted to add the portrait from KleineMaus' screenshot, but then I saw that you forgot to delete the background.
Additionally:
The sheet uses over 200 colours, unfortunately even the colours within the sprites are screwed up (I deleted some of them from the palette to show that the portraits are using too many similar colours).
