Well either way I got it fixed, and yeah your right Talon has the same broach! That's awesome. =P
I'm not sure what you mean with Princess Ruto, she seems fine to me? Granted I'm doing some fix ups and making it back to an unanimated pose but it appears fine to me.
Also Alec I found some of my old rips from a while back but I don't have textures. Most notably I found a rip of Sheik that I did and fixed to an unanimated pose that's symmetrical. Would you like me to upload that and then if you decide to do Sheik all you'll have to do is combine the textures and we'll be set. =D

Oh nice, the redead. That was definitely one of my favorite enemies from that game. Its hardly something I'd call scary now, but its definitely a disturbing looking thing.
I'd still kinda prefer if you dropped the texture resolution to like 256x256 textures because 1024x1024 for N64 textures is really unnecessary to be quite blunt. I mean that's most of the file size on those .ZIP's.
@Valforwing If you ever get the chance, this is definitely a game that you should try. Its insanely popular for good reason.

so thats what the Zora look like, they look so different in Twilight Princess.
I've always wanted to play ocarina of time, But i don't have a Nintendo 64, i've been looking for one but can never find it for a good price. Twilight Princess is really fun, and does OoT have a map you can explore at anytime? I've read the manga for it and it seemed pretty cool.
oh any luck ripping ArmorGohma? I want to have a comparison between it and the Twilight version (gave me nightmares while converting that model it did)

ocarina gohma looks as different as possible from the twilight princess version, and yes, ocarina has an explorible map, along with a ton of sidequests and mini games, along with things to collect, like 100 scultulas, 36 heart containers, 4 bottles, and a ton of upgrades and stuff, its really adicting
@shadowth
sorry about the resolution i forgot to change that, i will remember next time
i think i will also upload some mario 64 and james bond goldeneye models and maybe some nintendo ds models as well

Personally I think resizing your 1024x1024 to 512x512 would be best. It cuts the file size a lot but preserves the quality.
In other news I've fixed up Ruto the rest of the way so here you go Shadowth time for an update! I'll fix Malon next.
I'm really enjoying fixing these!
Edit: Also Shadowth when you do update it please replace the icon too. =) That way people know it's fixed.

Well, Zerox, quite honestly you're REALLY not saving much quality when you've already gotten rid of the original sharp quality by blurring it and you've stretched it to such an unreasonable resolution anyway. You could just get the same thing by enlarging the image in Paint.net or something again.
And you honestly can't tell me that this: http://img411.imageshack.us/img411/4194/ruto1grp.png
Is a good use of the resolution compared to this: http://img338.imageshack.us/img338/1047/...4dfxxt.png
Without making yourself look silly.
Another thing that would help though is if they were saved as compressed .png's rather than leaving them uncompressed. It more than doubles the file size by leaving them uncompressed and when you're talking about a difference of an unneeded half a megabyte per model for a game that has many, many things in it than it WILL make a sizeable difference in the end. Its especially ridiculous to me that using the original textures with regular compression would take up quite literally around a 20th of the space that the current model archives he's submitting take up. Go look at at the starfox 64 models for a very good example of how compact an N64 model can be with its file size, textures and all.
Point is, this topic is quite similar to the blank space thing that gets made a big deal of in the Sprite section of this site. It just ends up taking up unneeded space for no real reason. Sorry for my rant, but that's how I feel on the subject.
But nice job with Princess Ruto Zerox, I'll put that version up instead of the other one.

I totally agree that's why I said 512x512 was probably optimal as that knocked off a whole 700kb from the file size of the texture without any change in quality. But even at 256x256 they don't really lose any quality as the original models textures can be fit within 128x128 without repeating them. But as the method of N64 models are, most used repeating textures so the extra room for the repetition is of value in 256x256 over 128x128.
And now here's Malon for everyone fixed to an unanimated pose. Then I'll do the Redead but I guess it'll be break time after that. =P
Anyway:
Edit: Also Alec my offer an Sheik already put into an unanimated pose still stands, I just need textures and it reUVed. I'd give you the credit for ripping it as you'd do a lot of work there. =P Granted if you've already ripped Sheik and done it yourself I could just reput your model into a proper unanimated pose.

Well part of it is that he didn't use a compressed .PNG for the texture like I said which would reduce the size by half. But I still see where you're going with that. 512x512 should be fine as long as its compressed I suppose.
Also glad that along with posing Malon you pointed out that was the adult model since I couldn't tell. Its been sometime since I've played that game...

Ah your welcome. I thought it was pretty common knowledge but then again I have played the game 9 times completely through. =P
So here's the Redead all fixed into a symetrical unanimated pose. To be honest I don't think it's needs it's icon updated as it was pretty much there to begin with. There's not enough difference between this and what it was in the icon to be able to tell the difference at such small resolutions.
So I guess that's my last one for now until Alec posts more.
I know that requests get old. And these aren't really requests but I noticed we've already done 3 of the important women in the game and then I was thinking, well who's left? To my knowledge there's only 3 more if you wanted to do them I'd happily fix them up for you.

I can't remember. I know some of the door textures from this game were reused in Super Mario 64 in the level with the underwater town.

is filefront cool? you don't need to register but I just want to be sure
