Hey guys!.. i have a huge, colossal trouble..
my pc for some reason aways restarts when i run turok evolution on dolphin.. the weird thing is.. this never hapens with anyother game.. i can rip'em freely.. but now that i need a velociraptor model.. i cant get it.. i tried extracting direct from the iso with BSMVIew but it didnt worked either
so i was wandering if anyone would be kind enough to capture the a frame of a velociraptor for me, and upload the file along with the textures.. it doesnt even need to be the fixed model.. just the whole captured scene and textures ziped.. then i do the rest of the job..
or.. alternatively.. if someone know aboout other 3d dinossaur game that i can use 3D Ripper DX to capture with..
cheers!

No idea on another dinosaur game for you, but you really should go ask somewhere else about why Turok Evolution wouldn't run for you. This isn't exactly a Dolphin tech support forum.

Try an older Turok game. Like the N64 or the 1997 PC game (
http://www.abandonia.com/en/games/658/Tu...unter.html -> it's legal, it's an abandonware now)
Or you can go to the Dolphin forum and ask around about it at the tech support.

actualy i came here more to ask if anyone could kindly send me a riped sceene of turok evolution with a raptor captured on it .. yea i know i cant ask here about dolphin it wound'nt make sense..
well.. about turok 64.. i think i might give it a try.. i mean.. the graphics are rather boxy.. and all the other characters of the my game are in the 128 bit era style so the raptor will be 64's..... but since is a dinossaur nobody will realy notice the diference..
i'll learn how to rip 64's then

So ...first the requests are ate another sub-forum. Second, you got to have 20 posts to ask. But as you're willing to do it yourself...
Maybe you can try turbosquid or any site with free models

I have a good idea, why not try ripping models out of Jurrasic Park Operation Genesis, I'm sure it's rippable as models can be created and placed in the game really easily I hear, people are always trying to make better versions of the dinos that are available in-game. hrm... if you can rip models out of a game could'nt you also rip models out of a mod?

I hope this can help you a bit, good dinosaur models are hard to find (you can also check 3d studio warehouse but most of the good ones use google sketchup)

hey look at that! a whole community of jurassic park fans still live on , thats pretty cool!.. then.. im going after Operation Genesis right now!.. thanks for the tip man! realy
riping n64 models is easy... but.. as for the textures.. oh my >.< .. they come in separated pieces and you have to glue all then back together .. soo frustrating
all i want to do is a survival game in a dinossaur island dammt XD
oh and about google sketchup.. i have no idea how that works.. they all come in the dae format and i cant seem to open that with my milk shape or maya or anything.. it sucks ehehe

no problem, if you do manage to rip the models out of the mod, you think you could send me some of them in 3ds or obj format, I'd love to convert them to work in Miku Miku Dance. mainly the female brachiosarus, diloposarus, male parasarupos(the thing with the crest) the male Trex and the 2 velociraptors. if you can't thats okay too.
I just have blender, so i try to convert the dae files as well. i'm not too good with textures either.
finding a good velociraptor model is hard..
oh i found another set of dino mods for you

hope this helps out.

sorry man, i been tryng and trying.. but i can only extract the models without textures...
same with dinossaurs from turok..
but if i ever succeed, you got it.. i'll send you all dino models i get my hands on

but if you could rip them in the first place thats a step above the rest, and finding textures that would suit a dinosaur don't always have to be perfect.. if only i could find away to convert my MMD Tyranosarus into a obj file i'd send it to yah, you can put almost ANY picture of a leathery animal over the default texture and it still turns out decent looking, but then agian that could just be how it works on Miku Miku Dance.
