Also, here's the Starky I made. If you want to expand it, that's fine.
Actually, I looked at Lucca alot while making it. I thought her pose went well with Kid, so I tried to imitate it a little. Other than that and the colors, it's all custom.
And I like the Starky, with a little editing I think it could be perfect. I'm surprised more people haven't already tried doing this
Well, it's definitely a good sign when I can't tell who you edited.

Small update, but still
Hmm,the hair looks a bit odd on the side poses, as does the upper arm.

The size and frames are Chrono Trigger style, but the coloring and shading is not. The colors don't really work in that regard.
More contrast, harsher shading and utilize white a bit more. Also less shades.
If you don't want it to go anymore into CT style, then that's fine; it looks great as is.
Are you trying to stick to the color limit or no?

I know the hair doesn't look that good, I've been having a lot of trouble with it, trying to make it not look like a wig
Anyone have any ideas how to fix that?
As far as getting in the style, Serge is pretty far out of it, but I think Kid fits in pretty nicely with the rest. Either way, that's a lesser concern, I just want to focus on making them look decent right now.
And I'm kind of sticking to the color limit. At least, I'm making sure that I never use two of any different color. Like, I'm not gonna use two different types of red when I could use one.
The ponytail is the problem, and I know her ponytail is a weird shape, so it's hard to perfect. Maybe you could use Terra's from FF6 as a base and play with that?

That last little update looks great. I'm kind of impressed with Kid's hair too. Most people just stuck a yellow vacuum tube on the back of Lucca's head and call it a day. The only reason the outlines differ really is because Chrono Trigger sprites didn't use actual black outlines. They're a gray-ish lint kind of color.

I don't know if this is considered Necroing a thread, but I really like your edits.
Have you finished Kid? She looks amazing.
Also, I've converted your sprites to be compatible with RPG MAKER VX (I also edited Crono to get the sprint animations), here goes:
So, I would like to ask for permission to use your Serge edit on a fan game (with proper credits, of course).
Thanks in advance!
