Tyler's Sprites
#16
[Image: funkykongdisplay.png]
Newest update. Still haven't done anything with the position of the arms, because I'm not really sure if a change is necessary, or how to even change them.
Next, I plan on giving the grey of the shirt a blueish tint.

You have a ref for his right foot that's easy to follow.
Use it to make your sprite's pose (ignoring the arms) better.

Isn't that what I did?
I'm sorry, I don't fully understand your comment.

EDIT: Are you talking about changing the foot to better match the angle of the foot in the pic, or are you saying to somehow alter the whole body?

His left leg and foot have more bend in your ref, the foot in yours really just doesn't make sense

Also, looking at your ref online, it seems silly to stick to it so closely because Funky in your ref is facing an entirely different angle than in your sprite. You really ought to learn more anatomy sometime instead of just trying to wing it off of refs.

dont take the ref literally. not to mention, you should be aware apes use that pose on their legs to balance their torso. cutting the legs alone without working on the torso as well is what makes it look awkward.

Sorry, I've been sick all week.
I couldn't find a ref with a full stance, so I tried to mix references into a pose I thought could be anatomically correct.
I'll work on the leg.
Perhaps I should take the leg on our left (his right) and rotate it.

Oh, dear, I didn't post my update here.

Almost submitted, before reading that a topic here first is mandatory.
Soo, here we go:

Really small, I know.
If you can give me something that wouldn't be too difficult to add, I'll do it.
I'd rather not turn this into a gigantic project, though.

Also, thought I'd just let you know, I'm continuing Funky Kong and am working on an idle right now.
