Hey there, good people people of tSR. I'm a sloppy, lazy person and I have to post an assignment for an entrance to an entrance exam for an art school tomorrow. I want to do a traffic jam simulator in GM, and I'm a bit hopeless when it comes to programming. So basically, if any of you have the time to help me, that'd be great. Thank you.
The simular itself: i've drawn a background of a motorway, top-down.
I can't remember how to make an object choose a random sub-image for a sprite, and I'm trying to code two car generators (for cars going south, and for cars going north), and a camera that can move up and down the motorway with the arrow keys. And eh, I don't know if I have to create a car object going north, and another going south.
The traffic jam is caused by an object called car_marcel, who turns off the motorway rather abruptly (breaking hard).
I don't know if I've explained well, but I'm working on it.
