Hello!
I have created a sound effect generating tool that I call LabChirp. I recently released v1.00 and thought that I should post about it here. It can be very useful in game development, but also other stuff! Anything with sound, really.
Here are some samples of what LabChirp can do:
Car Shwoosh
Meow
Bomb
Singing
Powerup
Gunshot
Music
Cry
Please give it a try!
Download LabChirp
And I do appreciate feedback, so let me know if anything is bugging you.

Well, if you save the sound (File > Save as...), both a project file (.lch) and a wave file (.wav) will be saved. If you want an ogg or mp3 you'd have to convert the wav file with some other program.

I actually thought about making a tutorial with pictures and stuff and have it on my site. I'll work on that! In the meantime you could read the readme. It explains most basic usage stuff. You could also study the example sounds and experiment with sliders and envelopes to figure out what things do.
Thanks for your feedback!

This is very neat. If I am able to figure out how to make sounds effectively I will definitely use it.
