I'm betting that they will, after a while, release controllers for sale. Idk, if people go into the store to buy the system and see the extra controllers, and they cost a LOT, I'm guessing Nintendo thinks that will mess up total sales since a lot of people will buy an extra controller along side the new system.On the other hand, if they release it months down the road, most people will see it more as two separate purchases instead of one large total purchase.
