Here are some of the sigs I made a few days ago (1st and 2nd) with GIMP.

1st (Use with my permission and mention me that I made it)

2nd (You may not use)

3rd REQUESTED (You may not use)

4th REQUESTED (You may not use)

First one should have had a blue backround,
The second one could do with the yellow random lines,
The 3rd one seems a tad bit cluttered,
The 4th one's backround is a bit Eye-bleedy trippy.

Instead of using renders make some from your own drawings and whatnot. It put more of your talent in it.

Theyre mediocre at best. Not meaning to be hurtful to you, but you should really work on your aesthetic, try stuff out, see what goes with what, play around.
