Ripping Sonic Unleashed Models (360) ???

I've just browsed through the ISO and it turns out that models are in a compression format with the extension ".pfd"

Does anyone know how to extract the files from a ".pfd"?

Someone posted a script for use with 'QuickBMS' (Link). I wouldn't expect too much though, because the extracted model will most likely be another proprietary file format.
