Nami, Usopp, and Chopper (weakling trio) changed the most out of all the characters, especially her boobs. Later when the art changes from simple and cartoony to more serious, characters lose their similarities.

Shanks and Luffy are the only ones I can think of though that looked that much alike. Also the manga looks far better and I think his art and designs are wonderful (which is probably obvious)

also eww that one frame of Robin is really bad and its just in that one panel too

one of my favorite things about the series is how emotional it can be and the characters deep back stories

didn't nami actually age over time, though (well, all of them did, but the point still remains)

for some reason i seem to recall reading that nami was 16 at the beginning of the story and she's at least 18 or 20 now

she was 18 before the two year time skip

no one aged any until then

oh and while we're talking about boobs movies 7 & 8 are pretty funny

From what I remember the Mustang thing was really drawn out and just done strangely, and Envy's squeaky voice and weird form being revealed as jealous of humans was just kind of...cartoony and silly, not tragic. Which fit even less because it came right after Mustang's revelation

honestly at first I thought it was just ok up until skypiea to water 7 thats when it starts getting really good

and then I really started liking all of it, but yeah his art style really evolves and the characters become more varied and developed later on which adds a lot more to the humor

but I don't think it's really your thing anyways

was reading the one piece: green book or something last night. it's nice to see all the little things that turned one piece into what it is today and whats coming up.
