Incase anyone didn't see it yet (I believe it was on GoNintendo), there will be more characters. From what I understand, the ones on the Japanese site are the ones they wanted to show, while the rest they want to keep hidden till you play the game. They could have made that more clear, although I can't read Japanese so maybe it actually says that and I just don't know.

If they got things like Queen Bee imagine how stupid some of these guys are gonna be.

Metal Mario would be for those who enjoyed the alt Marios that other Mario spin offs had (personally, I enjoy alt Marios). Lakitu and Wiggler were probably shown for those who like classic, or more sensible characters.
I don't like alts since they take up space for more genuine characters.

As long as Waluigi is in it, I'll be happy. And I can't see them not putting him in as an unlockable

Seriously. I'm sure they can manage to eke out at least 20 characters. Waluigi not being in it would definitely be surprising. He's not one to miss out on spin-offs, though this wouldn't be the first time he was absent, as he was left out of Mario Party Advance.

Because of SM3DL, I can imagine Boom Boom being a possibility, but Queen Bee? Not a soul in the world could ever see that coming!
Wiggler sorta kinda makes sense, since he was the final boss in Mario Kart DS, though huge. As long as they do not overload the roster with babies, you won't see me complaining.

Queen Bee wasen't even a major character from Galaxy. But eh, a new character is a new character I guess. Wiggler being a racer is good news though, I thought it was interesting in Mario Power Tennis.
Anyways, who's going to buy and play this before christmas? This screams christmas game to me.
